Lucky, this guy deserves to be dead, he almost killed a handful of Police officers. The cop on the bike is damn lucky he didnt keep backing up.

I remember reading about this somwhere else, i think the thief/offender was in his own car, or certainly a criminal pool car that had been ringed (identity changed) which had had plexiglass windows fitted - the metal batons the cops use are compeletely innefective against such plastic windows obvously.

Got to hand it to the cops for not absolutely laying into the guy when they got him out the car - even if they did so off camera after they stopped rolling, holding out that long to give the bastard a good kicking must take some effort.

Over here the Police aren't allowed to use their vehicles to ram offenders off the road, and their battons are bit rubbish it must be said. Having said that I do prefer the method US police seem to use to stop cars, compared to just following them around like ours seem to do :?

That guy must have been wanted for some pretty serious stuff to be that desperate to get away. You'd have thought seeing as they couldnt brake his windows that a nice 3 point turn and back across the grass would have been a better move rather than trying to make a pavement with a tunnel wall on one side and a 206 on the other wide enough for a celica lol.
I wonder how they actually got in the car in the end.
