This morning I was driving on the highway between Perpinyŕ and Montpellier (south of France) with my girlfriend on the passenger seat, when I saw something very low and wide in my rear mirror...but it was not a Ferrari, neither a Lamborghini or another supercar that I've seen before...and I asked my girlfriend to take the camera and be prepared to take photos.
When it passed by our side I realized that it was the Audi Le Mans  (or it is a Nuvolari? I think it's a Le Mans... :?: ). And suddenly another one appeared in my rear mirror!
I'm sorry but we couldn't take better pics. When they saw that we were taking pics just pushed the throttle and disappeared in a few seconds... :|
We could only take two "decent" pics:

Sorry but this is the only pic which we could take from the front of the car:

Yup, that's the new R8
first sighting on the road on JW? Still bloody nice catch!! Looks awesome on the road!
Is it me or dose it look like a Bugatti.
Very nice catch.
Nice sighting.. but I thought Europe all about the "twisty roads" ;) That freeway looks flatter wider and straighter than what we have over here.. ;) :P

have you heard of the mighty AUTOBAHN? or Autodtrada del Sol in Italy?
Those are greater than most of the other Highways in the WORLD!!!!, and a twisty highway is the one from the south of France, near Monaco, that has the best scenery Ive seen in Europe....and I've seen some :D
Nice pictures dropot2

French highways (like this one) are the best in Europe -
The only problem is that they are not cheap at all...

Best ones are in Holland! We pay the most tax in all of Europe :x

Auw contrarey mon a monkey - I am all about "Love Europe" but if you dont have twisty roads.. how are we going to accomplish this ? ;) :P
^ we have - remember the Montecarlo rallye? Stelvio? the swiss mountain passes? :P
...but it looks like you guys spend more times on the freeway though ;)

Well - for me it's easier and more comfortable to drive the 700km to Monaco or to Switzerland using highways than B-roads...
You forgot timesaving

Ah the French...n'uff said.
Actually some French highways are good and some are just plain shitty. Maybe the southern French ones are better than the North where i drive. Also having to stop to pay a toll, I don't call that any kind of fun when driving at speed, which I do...
Belgian roads are the worst!!! talk about pot holes every where and loose rocks which like to be kicked up and hurled into windshields!
Can't say anything bad about Swiss roads or Austrian roads as they both seem of quality and are always smooth to drive on. Pay a toll at the border and get a sticker...best way for tolls.
German autobahns are for sure damn good. Just around the big cities they can be either at top form or at the bottom of the pits like around Stuttgart on the A8 which is both of the above.
And nice sighting

I live near the audi factory, I often see the R8. The best sightings is a R8 at night in the City with the lighted engine. I hope to capture a picture in future

For sure it's a nice catch ! :good:
But I wonder why all these camouflages, because the production R8 is already revealed. Perhaps that it's the upcoming V10 version ? Did you hear something different from a V8 engine ? :hmm:

Yeah, that is interesting. Even if it is the V10, the design and body should stay the same. . . maybe except a few aero parts/bits?
