It was just held up for the camera, and put back. It was swimming alone in the shallow water on the shore.

One would have to own a hell of a tank to create one of these as a pet.

I remember visiting an aquarium where you could "touch" a shark ..... they had a baby-shark in a small pool and you could touch, kind a cool  afterwards you got a stamp "I touched a shark"

Doesn't look to "great white" like (lets see the teeth ;)) and appears to be rather dead in that image - and actually, grabbing juvi sharks in the surf or off the rocks is not that hard to do.

Hmm, yes, it does. This doesn't appear to be groundbreaking stuff. :?

Hmm, maybe you're right, but how do you know her age?

Probably 11 or 12. Size compared to shark...

sharks arent real big on parenting i believe, whole egg-laying versus big ocean thing... the youngster should do just fine... :) and the girl couldnt be that old, i dont know very many girls in their teens whose first thought would be, "uhh a shark, I think i'll go pick it up...!"
