Hey, two posts in two days I'm ona roll :D

Ok, this has become one of my favourite cars.

First the looks. Well, it's on the limit. Any more accessories and I could call it mr rice. I love the two hidde exhaust pipes hidden in the difusor.

The car looks agressive and the looks get a good partner in the excellent suspension and brakes. The car loves to wiggle it's tail and it does so in a very controlable way. The car stays calm even when you're looking at the road trough the side window.

One dissapointment....I really don't know, where all the 200 horses have hidden. I mean, it does pull good all the way trough the rev range, but, well, I was expecting more to be honest. :wink:

What separates this car from the other small fast cars (fiesta ST - still my favourite, ibiza cupra, polo GTI and such little monstrums) besides the HP obviously, is the comfortable ride. While the other cars bump and bruise the driver's but, this one leaves it alone. It really is reasonably comfortable. The electric servo steering still is very noticable, but not half as much as in the other clios or meganes.

That's it I guess.

Oh and I loved the seats.

some cool pics there mate,i saw my first clio sport earlier this week in the sort of orange colour,looks really nice and from the front it looks wide and low with the arches and stuff,i liked it.

the fiesta ST still your favourite,what is it that the ST has over thsi car that makes you prefer it? thanks to daggernite i got to experience what the ST is like and it is a fun car to be in :D

well I't all a driving ebthusiast really needs. It's really simple inside, great seats, the styling is not screaming look at me, and most of all, well, the handling is still sharpest of all the competitors.

I remember having the polo GTI for a few days and all the time I thought, that the car's steering is really sharp, that the turn in is very good, that the suspension is just stiff enough and all those things are true . . .but then directly after the polo GTI I sat in the fiesta nd oh boy, well, everything I was talking about wen't up one notch.

Except fot the acceleration and the good quality finnish....got to give it to VW there...

The only thing that bothered me was the high seating position, but other than that...a bomb!

And MUCH cheaper than the GTI with much better consumption.

Around a bend, nothing can go as nice as the ST.

We even made a video of the two...

the face lift ST has a better interior than the first model,bit more snazzy inside.the seats as you say are great and very comfortable to sit in on a long drive,the one thing both me and daggernite said about the seats was how amazingly the ST cornered the seats could have been more bucket seat like to hold you in place a bit more :)

i agree around a bend the ST was amazing,and it was incredibly quick even though it was raining,lol.from what daggernite showed me the ST has a similar way of cornering to the clio,the back end steps out ever so slightly,not totally losing grip but lines itself up nicely for the exit of a corner.

The new Clio might not be as good as the previous one to drive, but it's damn sexy in pics! I regret the fact I wasn't able to shoot pics during my testdrive some month ago, but thanks to you I now have a nice set of photos of it, and in a great color!!

where is Dani....... nice shots.

Dani is here... and Dani thinks that the previous Clio Sport looks better - although this has some really nice details like the twin exhaust hidden in the rear difussor - and that is funnier to drive too :? :?

Anyway - the shots are outstanding - the locations are all sweet... and the colour of the car is so nice! :D

I sadly didn't get to expirience the previous model much . . .

Yeah the colour is nice, and by mixing it with the yellow background, I got the renault F1 colours 8)

Such a nice car. I know here in UK where hot hatches seems to be the nations favourite, it will definatly sale well and have plenty sucess. As always Komotar the pics are excellent and no one could fine better anywhere else. Theres no pic of the seats you love, but I have seen them elsewhere and I got to agree they look stunning and futuristic.

I also liked the STvsGTI vid.

I read in EVO magazine when the clio was pitted against the new mini cooper that it is a good car, but it just could'nt out do the mini. It sounded like the clio drives abit like Vtecs and is only truley performing at best when it is in high revs, is this really the case?
