View Full Version : BMW E63 M6 indepth! 50+ pics
To the ones waiting for the "other colors" F parking, I beg your pardon but I had to push this one on top of my update list :bah:
Finally two weeks ago my boss could lend me the keys of his M6 and I spent half a day blasting up and down our beautiful area shooting pics and enjoying one of the mightest engines I ever had at disposal  The simple idea of being able to shoot his car made me excited but when in the end he just gave it to me while he was mowing his lawn made me damn happy!
Now since some days he is asking how long he should wait to see the pics online and I don't think he would have liked to know it was planned for mid 2007 :D
So, enjoy the pics, and a review will follow.

TT you are one lucky guy, but you probably already know it !! 8)
Nice pics TT, I was wondering if you were able to shoot with all that adrenaline in your body
Man I would really wanted to see your face when you were driving it, must have been like a little kid! :P
LOL, as far as I know you can set them as wallpapers no matter where the watermark is :P
Seriously, lately I tend to put it more often at the top not to be an ass but just because I tend to have the car quite low in the frame and the logo won't look nice down there IMO, assuming a logo could look "nice" when put on a pic :D

Well, honestly if I would have had only a couple of hours I would have just driven it :D but after a while I managed to focus on the task and was able to stop several times to take some pics ;)
As for my face, of course after all the review I knew what to expect, but let's just say that V10 engine is really something mad! Not wanting to brag, but I drove some Ferraris, Porsches and Lambos by now, and yet, none was so ballistic and easy! I had a permanent grin :D not so much him when he welcomed me asking if it was me screetching the tires on the mountain road reaching his house :D
 it can.. but i like clean looking wallpapers.. with logos etc hidden under the taskbar :P but SCS has one nice logo for sure ;)
anyways.. just an idea.. :P

Finding those massive pipes was accidental but it was probably the best location of the shoot. Sadly this moonth I had the Ferrari day pics and I guess the M6 won't be able to be nominated by myself for the next contest :bah: but thanks!
very very  thanks TT big thanks!!!

It's a great GT car but it's far from being my favorite BMW, nowadays. I don't think it looks as good as it should for a BMW 8)
Anyway, the pics are amazing. Thanks a lot!

Great pics of a very sexy car, those ones infront of the pipes as others have said are great!!! Nice boss too, mine won't lend me his 997. :bah:

But although the mighty V10 engine must be a blast to drive - I would never consider this car even as an option... there's no passion in the design (except the wheels - which are plain cool). Even the 997TT looks more passionate if you ask me :? :? and there's also the M5 - same performance, 'cheaper' price :D
I have to agree with Dani on this one, I've only driven the M5 and not the M6 but it was still a little boring to me. The one I drove even had the Hartge exhaust but yet it didn't excite me anywhere near as much as a Ferrari or Lambo. For a family car though they can't be beat. :D
Unfortunately modern Porsches (excluding the GT3 maybe) and BMW's (and others) are just too dull and boring for my liking.
