I'm actually really tempted to get one, but if I do, I'll be eating cup noodles for the whole of December.

I really want to see how this card with DirectX 10 will make Flight simulator X look. I'll be building a computer when i get back from Italy, can't wait!!

Well I cant even make full use of my 1900xtx.

So I think my xtx will last me just fine before ATI come out with their new chip which is gonna wh000p 8800s ass and bring down the prices quite a bit.

lol if this was any tech forum you'd just be putting more kindle into the flame war. And do realise, ATI is dead. It doesn't exist anymore. It's the AMD R600.

I'm curious as to how well the r600 will perform. The core size is rumored to be much smaller than the g80 and it ONLY has 64 shaders.

 bah... ATI is still ATI to me.. the same fuckers that i had their GPU burn on me.. twice!
...time will tell.. anywho.. i'm an nvidia boy now.. :P
(BTW- tests that i've seen show that even now! under DX9 the 8800GTX is a little faster then 2 1900XTX and 2 7900GTX... so damn! 8) )

I used to be an nvidia boy. They are champs as far as mid range goes.

But highend I always go with ATI. More solid product. Always better image quality, better AA AF performance....dunno their products just feel more professional .

Yeah nVidia always owns the low to mid range, but their highend generally looses out to ATI eventually. The product refreshes generally make ATI the winner in single card performance.
