Marcel contributed greatly to the International Lamborghini Registry from its very beginnings and was a very good friend to many in the Lamborghini community who shared his passion over the years. The family have requested Lamborghinis to attend the funeral in his honor on Saturday 4 November in Rotterdam. Contact the Dutch club for further info if you can make it.

This is a great loss for the Lamborghini community.
Marcel was very well known to all Lamborghini enthusiasts, his collection of photographs was unsurpassed to say the least.

He attended all major events, and visited the factory regularly, he even had access to pre-release information.

He will be missed by all.

I did however hear that the funeral will be held in Rotterdam, and his family decided to NOT have Lamborghini's that day, to avoid numerous people showing up at this sad day that have nothing to do with Marcel or with his closest family and friends.
So please honor this request and pay your sincere condolences in another way.

I'm sure he will be remembered by all Lamborghini enthusiasts in the future.
