Especially if the young lad has never driven a stick.

LOL, I cant understand, how the hell he crashed, I mean it is a manual right? the kid started the car but it should be in neutral or 1st, in either way how the hell you just start the car and starts rolling immediately? maybe he released the clutch but the car should die instantly, I dont get it..... :?

My guess is that the massive torque of that engine didn't stall it, but rather propelled it against idle rpm and into the house.

HAHA, what a dumass (owner for letting the keys in the ignition when theres kids in there)

Teached the kid a lesson.

Sorry, but I just feel no pity.

Umm.. there are much better(and cheaper) ways to teach a kid a lesson.. Although I'm sure the Dad was taught even a better lesson by this experience.

I love how it has been posted on the internet for everyone to laugh at.

i have no pitty either, and that is why i near EVER EVER leave me car in gear when i park it. b/c i know people who leave it in gear without a parking brake that is what happened here. the kid let off the clutch and it was in gear and away he went. and that isn't a GT500 it looks like some saleen or roush or something else. hood is wrong.

It takes a friend to be there for you when your kid crashes your new $50,000 Mustang through your garage. It takes a true friend to have a video tape of it and put it on YouTube

Imagine when the kid turns 15 1/2 and he calls his insurance agent to add Joey to the policy " oh no Joey will not be allowed to drive the two Mustangs he will only drive mom's minivan" Think they will believe that. The cost to fix the garage and Mustang will be small in comparision to the premium jump.

If dad is smart he did not make a claim on this and fixed it out of pocket.

Great video, many thanks.

A friend I sent this link to thought it was a fake.

He seemed to feel there was not enough damage to the new Mustang. The video really doesnt show the car was really damaged. The kid enters the garage really too fast to stop, unless the garage had a rear door that was open and they taped black visqueen over it.

Most inexperienced people stall a car with a stick rather than zooming away.

Interesting video. It shows the inadequacies of the American education system. Or maybe some people are just dumb.
