Medical marijuana is legal for those with serious illness, I think that small amounts will only get you fined now, The gov is trying to crackdown on those who grow and traffic large amounts.

Here there are politica forces trying to make all the "light drugs" legal... what a crap.. sorry. but it's damn crap.. I know many uses them regularly, on a daily basis, and very often like a normal cigarette.. but that's terribly sad and luckily things are changing and finally all the shops selling marijuana were closed, ppl arrested and things are becoming harder for light or "heavy" druges dealers...

Obviously you can understand I'm completely against such dumb legalizations and I hope marijuana and other light drugs will always be forbidden by our laws!

It doesnt bother me, the problem int he US though is that we allow Cigerrettes, which kill you, but we wont allow marajuana which wont kill you. Its funny, because if it were to become legal the tabacco companies would be out of business, this is why i think its illegal here, just the tabacco industry lobbying.

hmmm...this is an interesting debate, because I'm not really sure on which side I should be on. I don't smoke, and I have never done drugs/never will in my life. However, I do consume alcohol...just not very often, and not in large quantities. OH..and I almost forgot: I also have a cigar every year or so.

here in canada it is not legal to possess, smoke, or traffic the pot. as a frequent user of said substance, i try to keep up to date on such things. as of now our new PM paul martin is tryin to have the same bill passed that will allow possesion under 30 grams. you will recieve a ticket if caught. over 30 grams(assuming 30+ grams would be for trafficking) and possesion of uncured(the plants) pot under this new bill will make that much more illegal than it is now...basically a law that will not ruin the lives of infrequent users if caught with a small amount. alot of right wingers do not want this to pass.....but as of now i dont think twice about lighting up a joint anywhere in public. noone cares too much. :)

Compared to cigerrettes? Think about it, most people will smoke maybe a joint or 2 every other week or so, while alot of people on cigs smoke a pack aday. Compared to Cigerrettes Weed is like childs play.

Here in Czech Republic (it's a small 10 Mil country just in the middle of Europe, it's just for those who don't know where it is), you are allowed to have (and I will quote a real law) "less than big amount", I guess the police and the court has to decide what is bigger than less than big amount :D 8), realy stupid.

However the weed is very easy to get here and no one realy cares about that law, anyways :).

I personaly don't smoke nor weed or cigarets, nor anything else. I however drink alcohol from time to time... not realy often, but if I do, I usualy drink A LOT of it :D.

Here in Belgium you can carry 5grams of weed, it's illegal but they don't sue you for it. They do take it away from you.
Using any kind of drugs is perfectly legal, only possession is illegal.
Using in front of minors is illegal allso.

And pfff, all that BS about smoking! They should betther shut up and all go on a diet! It should be illegal to be fat, and that start about your metabolism (that's only 1 or 2% of the fatty's).
I'm a medical student, so I know something about that crap.

Smoking and drinking isn't that bad, but those crapy studies only tell what the arrogant bastards want to hear.
BUT don't use to much! Then you'll see the other side of it.
For your information, smokers usely have a better immunedefency system. Allso the smoke kills a lot of bacteria in your longs.
Drinking is good for the heart and bloodvessels.
To much is never good.

And if you really want to know, yeah I smoke (a lot of docters, nurses, chiropractors, ... smoke and that's no BS). I drink from time to time too, but I don't drink untill I get drunk and if by exception I'm drunk I don't drive home anymore.
Yep, I smoked weed allready. You should try a bong filled with wodka :D Even tried speedpills.

When you're smart, and don't use all the time and so, it really isn't that bad.
FYI, speed was used in the 60's & 70's as dietpills and it was given to the army to get rid of the hungerfeeling. (Where ellse than in the US)


Btw. If you want if you're fat or not, calculate your BMI (body mass index) weight in KG's devided by 2 times your length in cm's. It should be between 20 & 25, under 20 underweight and over 25 you're overweight.

I know it kills brain cells, drinking kills braincells too, anything kills brain cells, so you cant really argue that point. But you do make good points, the government in the US is setup for big business, by big business, thats why smoking and drinking will never ever be banned.
