Jeep actually sued GM over the stupid design of the H2 grill? It is like a spitting contest over who has the uglier car, which H2 won. It isn't that the H2 is much more hideous than the Wrangler, it is just a bigger version of the same evil!! Jeeez!

It's happened before--Chrysler has tried to sue other manufacturers for placing 7 vertical slats on their grills. I think of the defendents went to 8 slats to avoid the hassle.

Jeez...At least the Wrangler's a serious offroad vehicle, which is more than you can say for the tough minivan that GM makes.

Agreed! The guy who said that the H2 was for yuppies, to be like other yuppies (I don't remember who it was) was right. I mean, can those things even go offroad without falling apart?

H2=modified Tahoe. Same chassis. So, that means some off-road capability.
But you're right--look at the boys that drive 'em.... :|

Do you guys even know what you are talking about? Have you seen what the H2 can do? Try looking at the vids of the H2 before you start to criticize it. The H1 is far too expensive and they just weren't selling, were you going to pay $100,000 + for a 4X4, hell no, that is why they came out with the H2. BTW, you think that H2 drivers are yuppies you should see who drives the H1 Hummers, super yuppies with even more money. The H2 has awesome off-road capabilities, it will go places the Tahoe won't even try or cannot go.

I have a friend who is selling H2's and he has sold over 150 of them by himself, he is making really good money on them as well, think over $600/vehicle at least and do the math yourself. At least GM is trying to bring new concepts into the automotive world unlike many other manufacturers who bring the same crap into the market every year. No, I don't have a H2 or any American vehicle for that matter, I just think that people don't realize how hard the car industry is sometimes.

i saw a tv show comparing it to the H1 and it only lost to it in one category. so i don't think it is that far off. i think people only have disrespect for it because GM was smart in how they marketed it. they knew who would buy it the most (middle to high income families to carry kids around) so they marketed it mostly for street use and most of the time it had a young woman driving it. that is JUST marketing. not going offroad in a commercial doesn't mean it can't. besides from what i can see where i live they are selling like crazy i can't go anywhere without seeinga yellow AND a black one.

The Tahoe actually has alot more off road ability. The H2 has the same chassie true but it also has large hevey tires and considering how weak the front A-arms on new chevy trucks are the larger wheels will snap them in two if you really get wild on it... The Tahoe will fair better because of the smaller tires.. not to mention the lighter body..

Yeah, the H2 is a poor excuse for a Hummer... it's just a Tahoe with a different shell and the same old cheap plastic GM interior... what a piece

The only real Hummers are the ones with machine guns mounted on 'em...

It was probably me that said the H2 is for yuppies, but I'll revise that statement: The H2 isn't only for yuppies, it's also for their wives. Fishy is right about the A arms. If anyone can host a small video or tell me how to post it to jabbasworld, I'll send it. It's of some jerkoff who took an H2 off road and snapped the tie rods. Those things really are complete pieces of shit. Completely.
