Nothing can touch the Veyron, but the topspeed from the others is impressive too (599GTB & ford gt!) :D

That 599 is crazy. I would have never thought it would so significantly beat the Lambo in acceleration or top speed.

yeah the 599 is the shocker out of that grouping, although the SLR, GT, and LP640 are also very impressive.


can anyone "rent" that track for a day or event? that would be so nice to take out a car for a 3 hour test of topspeed.

Nice scans, the Ferrari is incredibly fast. In a different issue of the magazine it's listed as the fastest 1/4-mile car ever tested by the mag.

Porky's sprint to 300 in 18+secs is amazing - wondered what it would have done if it was built as a proper (read lighter) sportscar and not like GT :) But then again it may not be much faster - you may be reaching the limits of tire grip then

Amazing figures for the veyron, although not as quick as they projected it to be. I remeber reading few years back that they estimate the 0-300 to be 14sec! But still, 18 sec is a mighty achievement. Wonder how fast a F1 racing car takes to go from 0-300, 10-15 sec?

I wish i could answer that :? I would have really liked to see Koenigsegg as well as Pagani with the Zonda F. We may have to wait for Sport Auto to do a top speed test on these vehicles, it was Sport Auto which tested the Zonda S' top speed!

Does the 0-300 time for the Z06 look right? I've only ever seen numbers up to 150 MPH for it, so I don't know. It seems a little slower than what I think it can do.

Yep, i also think they filmed it as they did in previous years. Can´t wait to see the Veyrons top speed run :twisted: It can take a while until its aired though. Maby even next year...
