For the real fans who can appreciate this

Fangio vs Brabham, 1978

Here is an extremely memorable piece of footage where 5-time world champion, Juan Manuel Fangio, aged 66, races against Jack Brabham.

The 4 lap 'demonstration' was run after the Australian Grand Prix at Sandown in 1978. With Fangio in his W196 Mercedes Benz and Brabham in his Repco Brabham, a car 12 years newer than Fangio's.
An awesome exhibition of great racing cars, pushed to their limit against one another, a special clip.

Oh my god! What a clip - thanks a lot mate! It was great to see two maestros at work in two magnificent cars. Fangio at 66 drives 100X better than any of us in our prime - this is what separates the truly great from the ordinary.

Awesome clip - can someone give a DL link pleeease?? :D

One day, in 30 years... we'll see the red helmet and red car again and we'll say - 'wow, at 66 - Schumacher is still the best!'

Yeah we probably will :D
