I’ve spent the past 20 years or so driving round corners while shouting, but then one day Richard Hammond turned upside down and the treadmill just stopped.

There I was with a big six-month hole in my diary. There’d be no show. No driving round corners. No shouting. For the first time in my adult life I had nothing to do.

Well they are pretty reliable source, so my guess is you aren't :x

But we got to respect the matter that Richard has to get well first !

What a shame. Also some of the segments that they have already filmed will feel pretty old when it's time to air them.

well the real question is when does that six months start? from when he crashed or from when the show should of started?..........

in a few in the latest articles they say topgear will probebly be back in January...so hopefully it is.

Here is an interview with Clarkson from the MPH '06 where he is asked when TG will return. He also says it will return in January next year. Heres the vid:

heh.. "minor crash" JC says.. I wonder how Jeremy would feel if things didnt work out as well as they did for Hammond.

Good to hear top gear will be back in January... but that's only if "everythings goes according to plan"

And whats up with this MPH '06 coverage?

Top Gear is coming back as soon as Hammond has had a rest, early next year possibly in January is the latest I've heard, from Clarkson himself. ;)

Great news to come back to after vacation.
I wonder if they will show the footage of the accident (tastefully edited I think it would be interesting. I stress tasteful to avoid comming off like a nascar race)

well, like i said in the post it's unofficial, i have heard rumors that it is either the 28th or the 21st, but it's leaning more towards the 28th.

again, these are just rumors, I don't know which cars but apparently they're filming "something big" in Austria.

and that's about all i know from the new season

Man i sure hope it starts no later than Jan 28. I miss that show so much.
