NO!
One hostage was shot when the SWAT team moved in. She recently died at the hospital despite having vital signs when she was transported. The other hostage is unharmed. The Man reportedly was quick enough to shoot one girl in the head before the team took him out.
This all went down about 15 miles from me.
EDIT:
The news just came back on and now they're saying that there was an erroe and the girl that was shot in the head is not dead but is in critical condition and the doctors don't know if she's going to make it. This is based on information that they have as of about 1 hour ago.

other reports are saying he shot her and then himself, so SWAT never fired any shots.

What's with all these hostage situations of late? Some people are just crazy. Poor girl.

that sucks that the SWAT never got to fire any shots at him; I would have riddled the guy. By now all the reports coming in are saying that the girl who was shot died at the hospital after being transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital.
EDIT: accually, now that I think about it. It's time to move on to the next question. Who can we blame for this?

^Weak/non-existant gun laws, neglect of mental health...it's not really who to blame but what to blame.

^Yeah. I'm not entirely sure if policies can be made to lower the possibility of such events reccuring.

Williams said he recalled seeing at least 20 guns during a visit to the apartment.
What a freak! This guy is a nutter! No rational person would keep so many guns.
