It is just common sense to turn you rphone off.. or at the very least, turn it off as soon as it rings :P

in HS when the gov. foots the bill thats one thing.

but when I'm paying farging good money for classes, the prof. better have some respect for me too.

If anything, the fellow students should be kicking my ass for the cell, not the professor.

Hmm, something about that video makes me think it was staged...

Anyways, that professor may have gone overboard, but it is extremely rude to answer your cell phone in class, especially if you sit in the front row. That's a major insult to the professor, and shows a lack of respect for everyone there, students & professor. Who cares if you are paying for the class, you pay to see a movie but you don't answer your phone in there either (well assholes answer in theatres :roll:).

Like RC said, I would have just asked him to never come back, not destroyed his property.

I think the call during class is annoying. What pissed off the professor is the guy carrying on his phone call during class. Get up and go outside. It's like those fukkers are the movies...take your call outside. :roll:
