Here is another one. A young new millionaire who proudly declined the recommended driver education from the Koenigsegg factory, spins his car, and stuffs into a sand dune after under half a lap. It is Tommy Sharif. He got rich selling tyres and rims to boy racers in Oslo. twat

Well, altho he's didn't take the proper advice, at least he's smart enough to do it @ the track. He's alright, anything happens at the track. Hey, even the stig crashes it (EDIT, not that I am comparing his weird driving style with the stig).

I don't think there will be much damage to the car

The car was completely fine, after a good wash down. But as the reporter said... the first thing he did out of the pits was fo floor it. Why would you do that the first time you drive your $1.200.000 car with 800+hp? A little more speed and he would have smashed the front. :bah:

yes, it is his. Just like the other guy who bought the last one (only 2 in norway) they get insane amounts of tv media coverage. That kind of free PR almost pays the car. The Owner of the last one, a CCS, admitted that he only bought it to get free PR and promote his cell phone subscription :?

The Koenigsegg really is a frightening car, wouldn't surprise me that all the owner did was give it full throttle :o

What a beast, and a shame :x

So, we can say that the koeningsegg handle badly? ;)

where is the video evidence?

did the car understeer wildly, then oversteer unrecoverable?

we know that it is skittish on high speed manuvers (well over 100) wiht no real aero downforce.

It may be a poorly handling car, but from TG footage, it doesn't appear so entirely.. but we all know that It has fully adjustable suspension geomoetries.

I'm curious what TG time the car would've had with the NS timed lap settings.

Yes, I also miss the sketchy video....and the brilliant conclusions afterwards. I have to admit though, this guy does seem to have the same mind-boggling skills as the guy in the F1-video. Just ram on the gas and be surprised when you get into trouble.

Wasn't the Koenigsegg with spoiler faster than the Enzo on their track (Top Gear)?

yeah, the evidence is just of a heavy foot, not wild unpredictible, and unbalanced moves :)

The Koenigsegg has a reputation for not being an easy car to drive at high speeds...the least he could do was being more careful :|

He wasn't sppeding that much when he spinning. He just dropped the power too hard out of the corner...power oversteer...

Yes it was Lotus, 1.17.6 was its laptime with 1.19.0 for the Enzo 8)

Because you can and because it's fun and because you cant hel yourself doing it?
I'd probably do it too ...
No, I'm sure I would ...

You can see that the guy can hardly hold the car straight...suggesting that he's heavy on the throttle instead of being smooth. He blasts out of the pits flooring the car, then slows to a crawl to make the first turn. Makes you wonder if he ever even sat in the car prior to having cameras all over him. Yet another reason and example of why buyers of super exotics should be required to pass a course on driving the car, prior to getting to own it. And, that money doesn't mean you can drive worth a lick.

At least the Konigg looks like it got away with only scratches.

Well - that's what happens when you mix a moron hammering his 400,000€ superexotic right out of the pics, and a car that requires some good hands to take the best out of it!

ehrm... the Koenigsegg is €920,000 in Norway. (incl. tax)
