Targa West 2006 - 997TT, 996's, 993's, STi's, Evo's etc

A huge 8 responses in my last topic :( , lets hope this is more interesting then. :)

This is the event in which Peter Brock (Aussie racing legend) was killed in last weekend, so it was a sombre mood in the following days. I headed out for a look with a few friends on the Sunday, despite the 2006 Gallardo and Brocks Daytona Coupe no longer being in the event. :(

RIP PETER BROCK.

Not very spectator friendly this year and no real displays in which to take still shots, so only one pic of most cars. :bah:

It is a tarmac rally which are pretty common in Australia, the most famous probably being Targa Tasmania. Basically its made up of maybe 20 stages run over 3 days and you add up all the times to get an overall winner....same as WRC in a way.

There's a Belgium guy competing in Dutch and Belgium Rally's with a Porsche GT3. very cool to see, and the same goes for the Porsches on your pics. There not bad rally cars I imagine :P
