Test drove new Seat Leon FR TDI 170

Today I made a short testdrive in the new Seat Leon TDI 170 bhp. My current Seat Leon FR TDI 150 has to be replaced within one year, so I went to my Seat dealer and test drove the new Leon FR today. It's a great car and the engine is completely diffrent from my current TDI engine. The old TDI engine is very raw and has a turbo lag. The new engine goes like stink and it's no problem to pull to 5000 rpm (!) without feeling the need to shift up to get more power.
I think I have found my new car :D

New TDI motors are so much better than the old ones. Diesel car sales have gone through the roof here in Oz in the last year or two because of the high petrol costs.

TDI's everywhere. No Seat brand in Oz though these days.

What TT said... would be nice if you could spend a couple of minutes writting down a short review of the car for the JW Car Reviews section :wink: :D

As for the car - I've never really liked the looks of the new Leon... and even with the FR or the Cupra styling - the old one still looks bettet to my eyes. Anyway - this car is a stept forward compared with the TDI 150... it's only the looks which I don't like :wink:

Same thing for me Dani, but my car has to be replaced some time, what car would you choose in the same category for the same money. (it has to be a diesel with 90.000 km a year) :?
