These pics aren't up to the professional level that nthfinity has, but I'm just happy I managed to take some decently clean pics considering how crowded the place was :)

It just looks weird with that hood "protector". Quite hard to picture what the hood actually looks like.

only some of mine are really good IMO... but thanks :)
BTW, nice photos! Nice to see a different angle of my friends Mucrielago, and F430... I had the totally wrong lens for up close :(
BTW, i can't believe how awsome your camera works for that "Night mode"

Thanks, yeah the camera does take some decent night pics, you just got to make sure you have it completely steady for those shots.

The Corvette XP-885!!
amazing!
Is that what the grey car is? Wow, how does somebody get there hands on that. I guess there are advantages to living in Detroit. I didn't even know they made prototypes of the car. Thats really amazing.

nth,
Great pics! What camera setup were you using to shoot those?

I have to admit to being suprised with Zora's mid engined' corvette being on display.... build quality is definately prototype, and showing its age.. but still beautiful IMO :)
There were so many cars.. but in all honesty, i only had my 100-300 that day, so it limited what cars i could take photos of in tighter circumstances.
nth,

Canon EOS 20 D
its a great camera body, I love it! It's extremely easy to use, very fast (.2 seconds startup time) and I don't regret going with it over a Nikkon whatsoever :)
18-55 F3.5-5.6 stock lens
really not a great lens... but there are ways to make it work better; basically set the F stop to 9-10, and don't do the extreme end of wide angle, or the extreme zoom, and distortion will be low.
Quantaray 100-300 F4.5-5.6 telephoto
a total crap lens for anything above 170 mm basically... but, from 100-170 with open aperature, it makes for nice photos :) Keep a steady hand... anything less then 1/100 of a second might be blurry w/out any image stabilization. I don't recomend this lens, unless you are on an absolute buget.
and of course, I have tripods and such.
