Due that today would be Freddie Mercury's 60th b-day I thought of opening a topic to talk about one of the greatest rock bands ever.
Their rock is quite different to any other band and Freddie's unique style make their music very enjoyable. So many great songs and excellent rythm put them in my top list of bands. If you haven't purchased a disc of them and just know their popular songs I suggest you to buy one and you wont regret it.

Id suggest the 2 CD greatest hits if oyur gonna buy some of there stuff.

you wont be disapointed in any song (well.... perhaps "Lazing on a sunday afternoon") off of "Queen : A Night at the Opera"

it has many songs by Queen you'd never hear otherwise....

Queen are a good rock band, good for getting large groups of alcohol-swigging people into a party mood.

That's my favourite band, by a long shot... unfortunately, I couldn¡t attend any of their concerts 'cause I was too young when Freddy died. I went to the re-born of the group with that other singer (don't remember his name now). They offered a concert here in Barcelona, and altough it was great and quite emotive (they played 'Those are the days of our lives' with pics of Mercury at the back) - it was half as good as the concerts performed by them in the 80's.

I went to the show they had here. not very good. but to see brian may play some of the songs put a smile on my face.
