Amazing car indeed RC, congrats for the test :D

I had the chance to drive one on the open road tough... but it was quite an experience!
if I remember right, this little baby was quicker than the mighty F40 on the ring... that said it all.

can't wait for the pics!

Can't wait for the video cause it seems it was took quick for your camera's shutter ;)

Really seems like you've become friends with all the right people. Are you planning on doing some Winding Road type online media/magazine?

Glad to hear about the Miura!

Its interesting seeing the C5 Vette next to the Miura, because up until this point I never realized how many similarities both of the cars share in terms of design.

That could be the reason why I like the C5 vettes so much :P

I thought that the CTR was based on the pre-964 model so without 4WD version :?: I know that it has front and rear bumpers of the 964 type but I thought it was aftermarket adds-on.
So Ruf made a Yellowbird version on 964 basis, how many hp ??

Yes - that is the other one ;)

Trust me fellas - I have never bullshitted you guys and never will :)

From my post in the other thread...

how manty CTR's are there? 25? how many 964 CTR's are there?

thats damn cool!

Total CTR production? Not sure - awaiting an answer from RUF GMBH - total 4WD 964 based conversions? 2.. :)

Not that I would know ;) :P - but apparently if you went head to head Bently Conti GT vs 485bhp C5 Z06 on the freeway tehy run pretty much neck and neck...

That there Bentley is a fast mofo.. ;)

:)

No problem... I just want you guys to be able to enjoy what I post with a relaxed "trust" - as I am trying to bring more and more exciting things to JW every week ;)

Some things later this year are going to blow you guys away ;) :P

Lets just say, this CTR Yellowbird will seem like a boring mass produced Yugo compared to some things that are coming :) :P

Nice review of the CTR - simple... clear... enough

I tried to put into words what it felt like... ;)

... a drive in the Pininfarina Ferrari 612 P4/5 may be?? :P :D Now that would be awesome!!

I am not sure how to pull that one off... but I will give it a try ;)

Or are you refering to the beasty RS200 Evo??
Nope - you alreay know about that one...

All I can say at this time is - mid-90's German 1 of 2 made - pretty succesful racing history ;)

Oh - and you wouldn't believe me even if I told you.. it is Pics of STFU material ;)

^ Dauer 962 Evo? :P

I think they made less Schuppan 962's than Dauers - maybe it's one of those :P

Well,

Only five of these cars were ever built. At just over US$1.5 million in 1994, the Schuppan 962CR is the second most expensive vehicle ever sold new.

That eliminates that one ;) - but will say it is a road car version... :P

I was to busy taking note of the required driving nuances and techniques so when I start daily driving the CTR I won't stall it too many times - or lose to other 218mph street cars I might come across.. ;)

im guessing a '96 Porsche GT1 streetversion... dunno how many of those have been made but it isn't alot, thats for sure... altho i dont know about the successful racing history of the streetcar, but maybe u meant the race version...

I'm almost certain there were 30 '96 GT1 "Strassenversion", but there was only 1-2 of the '98 model that I know of. It cant be that 8)

All I am willing to say is... there were 20 odd cars made based on the 996, and 2 cars made based on the 993...

One was red... the other was white...

...and as i posted already, you wouldn't believe me if I told you :P ;)

And the last one was yellow! :P

 http://img7.exs.cx/img7/2533/Porsche993GT02.jpg

Well this car was in Pennsylania this past weekend.. and could perhaps be a reworked race car... or the red car painted yellow.. - I know it's not the white car repainted yellow.. ;)
