Part 2 of the trip.....we just got all our video back so we should get some footage out this weekend.

We got some company on our trip to Ayers Rock - a brand new 612 Scaglietti turned up out of nowhere. Imagine our suprise at seeing this car (and his at seeing us) out there, not even a Merc or BMW roams the streets in Alice Springs when we aren't there. :P

He had bought the car 3 days earlier in Sydney and drove straight to Ayers Rock (3000km or so)...wanted to see if his money was well spent. THe following day he planned to do some offroad driving in it to cover it in red dirt....what a great attitude!! :D

No more drives other than the F430 and M5 I mentioned in the last update, but sitting in each car at 300+ is something I'm still thinking about now....can't get it out of my head! :D

All 89 high-res pics can be viewed on my website  www.ozcarsightings.com

My favourite, the F430.

Hi Dingo,

Those pictures are absolutely fabulous, job well done mate !!!

I think you had a very nice day there, stunning cars and stunning surroundings. The black gallardo and the beemer pics are my favorites.
The light on those pics is just perfect. And I like the smoke on the M5 a lot !!!

Congrats

Cheers

Well we stayed at Kings Canyon on the Saturday night and then drove from there to Ayers Rock on Sunday morning - about 150km from memory. If coming from Alice Springs directly its 441km.

We stayed checked in to the hotel on Sunday morning and left again on Monday morning, so one day in total. The place we stayed at is called "Sails in the Desert", a 5-star resort --> http://www.ayersrockresort.com.au/sails/

oh and just to clarify the M5 didn't create that smoke (it was one of the other cars :P ) - just so he doesn't get in any trouble.

Dude, the past two updates were hands down the best ones since you launched your website! Keep going and keep entertain us!! Bloody hell it was good even from the other side of the world! Thanks!

My fav is this Screamer Gallardo's front shot, with the car taking only part of the frame, very nice

(this mean this is the pic I'll put down under your name for now for the contest ;))

I admit the front 430 shot parked on the side of the road is damn good too!

As mindblowing as part 1. I love your favourite location. And I would point out pics 179, 182, 183 and 187 as my favourite ones. Really hard to name a winner out of them.

Yeah i thought that Dingo as that would have been a very long drive to NT.

Hey those Tassie roads are fun to drive on. You could get the guys to have their own little Targa Tasmania happening

Funnily enough we discussed it on the trip, the guy from Tassie invited us all down and said he'd show us the best roads in Tassie. They have speed limits though which takes a bit of the fun out of it, but still a possibility. :D
