I want to upload some prototype pics i took in a German car museum. Unfortunately these pics were very dark so i had to make them brighter but now the filesize is 500kb+ I tried to upload them at freepixhosting.com but this site only allows files up to 300kb. Do you know a site allowing bigger files and direct linking :?:

Moved to General Chat since the question does not have to deal with problems or suggestions for this site.
If your looking for FREE hosting then your probably not gonna find much that will allow large photos. If your willing to shell out some money then there would be many alternitives.

Thanks fishfreek, but TT has just added me to the mulimedia usergroup so i can upload my pics right here on JW
To bad big files usually just gives a blank pace.. like if the script see them as corrupted.. let me know if you get stuck, because if one got stuck in the queue, all the other will fail untill we clean your queue :)

If it takes longer than 45sec to upload or process then thats when you get teh white page. If this limit is still too short I can up it some more.
I got the white page for scans around 200 kb big.. and such files take maybe 10 sec to be uploaded.. but still no luck... I have to admit I didn't try lately ;)

I made a change a few weeks ago from 30sec to 45 sec. Remember it has to resize the image and make a 640x480 version of the image if its larger than that aswell.
Yes yes I am aware, but my scans always worked well, even when above 300 kb then one day nothing.. even small ones around 180 started failing.. and I tried again right now, a 197 kb file.. nothing.. and the upload took way less than 45 seconds at 12 kbs

Just upped it to 60sec. I have been told by the developers of the gallery that the white page is a result of a script timeout. So i dont know where else to look for the white page.

image station is a great host but not for larger pics. anything wider than 450 pixels will get resized down to 450 pixels in width, so a 500K pic (which i assume is quite large) will get butchered way down. i'm currently searching for someplace to host my 600 pixel wide sig pic so if anybody has any info fill me in please thanks
