Yesterday I visited Bavaria City Racing, a demonstration show of all kinds of racecars and supercars in the center of Rotterdam (sponsored by brewer Bavaria, has nothing to do with the german state).
There were also 2 Midland F1 cars (driven by Christijan Albers and Tiago Monteiro) and a Williams F1 car driven by Nico Rosberg, and A1GP cars and some more, but the batteries of my camera died after only a couple of shots and I didn’t have backups :( But a guy I was with took some nice pics of the F1 cars, so you’ll get those later. Hearing an F1 car accelerate (almost) flat out while standing at best 2m away from it is pretty awesome :D although it wouldn’t surprise me if they put on bigger sound restrictors, from what I remember some Le Mans cars hurt my ears close to as much or maybe even more than these F1 cars.
The rain before the show started was awful. At the beginning of the show the prime minister and the mayor of Rotterdam did a lap of the course in a Bentley Le Mans and got completely soaked lol, that made my own cold and wetness a bit less bad :P

The Ferrari F40 again. This was the first F40 i’ve ever seen, its kinda small compared to its status lol. Sadly the sound was impossible to hear because of the BMW M3 GTR also driving around (which sounded quite awesome btw)

My first Porsche Carrera GT. I loved it looks, so subtle, but as a result it kinda got drowned out between the monstrously spoilered and winged racecars and supercars driving around. It was driven by Jos Verstappen, but apparently there wasn’t enough room to really floor it because I never really heard the engine.
