View Full Version : Jaguar XK 4.2 indepth!
Another indepth and this was quite a surprising one since I basically walked in a Jaguar dealership and some days later I was handed the key of a shiny new XK and was able to go on a testdrive all alone with no dealer. Really weird!
And really nice car I must say. Nice to take pics of it and a pleasure to drive! I'm gonna post the complete review in the correct section in a while ;)

Good job with the photos TT. Since you are the acknowledged snapper in Switzerland, the wise dealers know that giving the car over to you is a cheap form of advertising :)
The only issue I have is with the car - it looks DULL with a frikkin Mondeo snout ... yuck!

Very lucky man you TT
I can just see the Ferrari dealership handing you the keys to an Enzo
Thanks!! Oh and photo of the month is certainly included in this photoshoot :!:
^^ and i bet you were looking for a M5 fighter weren't you...... Jags are cruisers, highspeed ones at that. they are quick, not fast.
Thanks guys, and TNT, no idea what up with your post: tried to edit it but no luck
Actually for the contest I think I'll use one of this two

or maybe even the Speedster from the previous indepth ;)

Choose the option to disable smilies in your post. Then you can post the links without the aliens appearing.

That the way it should be :good:
They give us the key for an Indepth and off we go for cool places and some nice driving :fuck:
once again you're the first to present
I spoke to the AM-Jag dealer about comparing the AMV8 with the XK and some photos, but I'm too busy atm :bah: to book the testdrive.
Very nice picture of the AM-look-a-like, me likes the design except from the front.
You choose the perfect scnenery with some farm, horses and cloudy sky (typical UK conditions)
#18 should be the next Jag-whatever-HighSociety-magazine :D
Thanks for the indepth

I love the simple and clear lines of this car.
Have to call someone at Jaguar soon.
Number 5 is also my favourite

Well coming from a 1992 Toyota Celica, I guess this would be a bit different.
I just never say the shock and awe people get over Jags, they are extremely problematic, they aren't built as well has they used to be, for the technology you get they are a bit spendy. Hey I've owned an S-Type IT WAS AWFUL.
Well excuuuuuse me for only owning a Toyota and not something fancier, but you are the one that said:
"I don't know what it is why people get such a whoopla over it, it is so flawed it makes Hillary Clinton look like a queen, ha."
It just seemed like an odd comment to make in this topic. :?

Looks like a DB7 (not a bad thing), thanks TT.
Now if only the 6.0 V12 would fit

Great in depth pics, TT. I also like #5, but I like #18 even better, because of the composition.

Missed this topic  Really nice indepth, I'm really jealous that you just can't get a car for yourself here from dealers (I've tried). :(
Pic 18 is my favourite too. :good:
