those cars don't look "finished" the tail lights and the bumper look off

Suppose that you missed the sticker with the word "erprobungsfahrzeug" which features on the booth of both the black and yellow CGT.
So these are preproduction models which are being tested. And when you test something things tend to go wrong when you intentionally cross the thin line between make and break :roll:
