hahaha cool... i also saw a subaru ad once saying: "Subaru congratulates Audi on 25 years Quattro. Subaru's 4wd technology has been developed since 1976" or something of that nature.
btw audi didnt win 6 consecutive Le Mans races, and even without knowing that, they're contradicting themselves since there are 7 years in the line from 2000 - 2006 :P

Your twisting the facts just like the media, the title of the made-up ad says "2006 International Engine of the Year", when it only won a follow-up category (2-2.5 litre cat). BMW doesn't even make a 2.5 litre engine anymore!
BMW still has their 2.5L engine, although it isnt new, it's still #2 ;)
Suburu took a nice stab but they're just twisting the facts as you said..
1. Subaru 2.5-litre flat four Turbo (Forester, Impreza, Saab 9-2X) 155
2. BMW 2.5-litre (325, 525, Z4) 153
Are those other ad's even real? the texts looks PS'd..

Of course not. Mercedes would probably sue BMW for libel in the first one, and the second one is a clear reference to Teen Girl Squad on http://www.homestarrunner.com
The real ads are hilarious, though.
