Are there any HDTV car vids around already?

Since HDTV stuff becomes more and more popular here in Germany and because i want to feed my plasma TV with some more nice vids, i thought if there are any vids with car related content around. I searched and didn´t find a thing.

Which would mean about 3-5 years as it has not caught on very much. And speaking of Blu-Ray I forgot to write a review about it as I have tested the worlds first blu ray player out!

I thought that maby some car makers produce HD clips to promote their cars or something like that. There are even HD porn clips around already so why aren´t there any car vids? By the way i don´t mean HD-DVD or Blu-Ray Dics, just some clips on the net to download.

there are high quality DV available on media sites; but if you want high def, then you need to special order it from the auto makers....

HDTV can be done with carvids. Like those shown on Discovery channel HD. But it takes someone to rip pit as HDTV. I have the victoria secret fashion show as HDTV, its 30 to 45mins long and its over 5GB big so yeah, hard to expect for HDTV car videos as I am sure there is more worldwide interest on VSecret than cars.

5 gig for a 30 to 45 min is VERY large even for a HDTV file in .TS format and 1080p resolution :shock: It has to be fantastic quality though. There are several ways to compress HD files like XviD, DivX 6 or x264. A full movie in 720p XviD quality and single layer DVD size (app. 4.37 gigs) already looks awesome.
