All taken at the British Motorshow in London.

Shite quality, but these are some rare cars. I apologise for the quality, but i was just taking quick snaps. If i ever want a good image of these cars, well, i'll just long onto the WYST section of JW and look at your pics :P

Zonda Roadster - pure sex on wheels. A stunning car IMO.

Ford GT - still suprises with it's stance and size. I love it as a design, but the car is still a damn Ford

F50 - first time i'd seen the car close up, but the design is looking a little dated now. Not a classic like the F40, but not modern like an Enzo. Can't deny the technology used, and of course it's probably the last (super) Ferrari to use a manual 'box, and i'd love to have one just for the noise

Enzo - again, i've seen a few, but the car is amazing IMO. I love it. I want one now :(

F40 - with another (plaun red) F40 behind. Great looking car. It's looks have aged well, and it is a classic late 80s supercar. Better design than the F50, definitely.

SLR - great. Was next to a 300SL Gullwing, and looks better each time i see one. The 300SL was a thing of beauty, with an amazing interior. :good:

McLaren F1 LM - only a few of these about, and although my second F1 in the metal, it was my first LM. Awesomely compact, and just pure engineering. One of my fave cars of all time? - i guess so :D
(SLR behind it - looks better everytime i see one - i've seen loads now, and in no way is it a jumped up SL55/65 AMG :good: )

Of course, there were loads more cars at the motorshow.

The Aston Rapide looks the bollocks, and the Carrera GT is still an amazing car. BMW/Roller/Mini had a great outdoor exhibition with an Oracle yacht present. The Z4M Coupe was a muscular little beast 8)

A great day out, and a good chance to see some amazing cars, and also sit my bum in some of the more common cars - Vauxhall, Renault etc. :P

Sad that Audi/VW/Porsche/Ferrari/Maserati/Fiat and a few others didn't turn up, but thats how it goes. The rest of the cars still made an impact, and i'm looking forward to next year, where we mere mortals will be able to get up close to some expensive (and less expensive) machinery again 8)

Awesome pics No.1 , so many nice cars, i wish i could have gone  . The f1 lm is some car and it must have lit up the whole motorshow in that colour :P . THe f50 is some beast too and must have been a priviledge to see up close 8) . Did you get any scale models at the motorshow, there was meant to be a stand with 500 autoart :!: :?:

it's cool to see that the F40 leave such an impression on everybody looking at it, instead of the F50 which leaves with still a "wow!" but it is that F40 that really brings your attention to supercar.... atleast I do!

Too bad that brands like Ferrari or Porsche didn't turn up - same as Lambo I guess since I don't any pic of them :?

Yeah... no Lambo, either. The whole of VAG shunned the show, apart from Bentley, who incidentally had the nicest guys on the stand to talk to.

There was a Muira Jota (the one i posted in my Goodwood thread) and a Gallardo on the Octane Magazine stand.

Anyhow, i'm trying to sort something out with Lambo near me to get a good look at some of their models...

@ MC12 - there were some model stands, but its too expensive for me to collect them (i'd buy them all) so i avided them :bah:

It truly was amazing to see the F50and F1 LM up close. The F1 just looked so tiny next to a C class DTM car and the SLR

Nice coverage, the white/blue F40 is the sexiest IMO, but doesn't look like a racing version to me...

Lame effort on that dark grey SLR LOL! We need some flashy colors now!

Great pics. I wish half of those cars came to the Houston Auto Show - its pathetic

I bow to your superior knowledge, TT

There was another SLR in the same colour on the Autocar stand, it looks nice IMO, and the SLR can't come in too flashy a colour because it would look strange :bah:

I was definitely lucky to see the F50 and the Macca, because they are just so rare.

Shame i didn't have an SLR because i would have concentrated on pictures then, but it was still v. busy at the other stands. :bah:

What a collection  Thanks for the fantastic pics No.1! The F1 LM looks exactly like the one Tiff compared to the Enzo this week

Very nice pics Nr.1 :D I also love the F1 LM, so rare (only 5) and compact
I also love the rest but I have a doubt on other than red F40s ... I never saw one but on pics it doesn't look "natural" But I admit that this white/blue seems to look good ...

I would like to disagree with TT. I bet the SLR in that grey or gray in person would look stunning just not in the picture.

Simply amazing line up. I remember being at the Lodon Motorshow 11 years back...I still ahve a photo of me infront of the F50 from that very event. Was the AM DBS on display BTW ??

No... i was slightly upset at that TBH.

I would have liked to have seen it, but the Rapide was cool 8)

Good pics for fantastic subjects

Unluckily I hate light in motorshow stands, I tried to make good photos at Bologna Motorshow, but it was very difficult!

A little question: is the Caparo Freestream T1 the car in the first pic behind the Zonda?!

Ciao!
Alan

dani is right!

Its the second time i have seen it, and i love the way that the front lights are integrated in the bits that wrap around the wings.

The detailing is great, but it's too extreme as a road car, and so the track-advantages it will have will be no suprise. :bah:

Glad you enjoyed the pics, but you're right about the sucky indoor lighting

Dude! I'm jealous...that car show must have been sweeet, and you got to see an F1, and not just an F1, but an LM! :D :D :D

The F50 looks really great too, I like it with the hardtop so much more than topless. I also disagree with TT on the color of the SLR, that dark grey is a great color for it, the styling is flashy enough, so it needs a more subdued color. Anyways, I like dark grey on cars no matter what so what do I know! :P

Nice colour combo for the F40. And the F1 LM still is mindblowing! I demand more pics of it :D

Sorry - as is customary for me at such events - its better to remember the car in my head than take photos of it (thats what i come here for) - so thats the only pic that i took of it :P
