In the last show of the series Jeremy, James and Richard are going out in style, behind the wheels of their very own white vans. They take on the ultimate challenge for any white van driver - working as a real life roadie for The Who. Ray Winstone is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car and Jenson Button will be tackling the Liana in the F1 Driver Challenge.

I wonder if it was worth to start again after the World Cup :? I know they can turn everything in a funny show but the line-up is not really incredible ...

So this is the last episode.....

Since the 599GTB, 911 GT3 and Turbo, Lambo LP640 weren't featured in this season I guess the next one will be awesome !!! Too bad we will have to wait some months :x

This looks like a really crappy episode...

I wonder if Button can actually complete a lap without something horribly going wrong

The guys testing out white vans? They can't be serious! This season of TG started out rather promising with few cool cars and after world cup, it's all about the 3 guys destroying cars :(

Are they running out of budget or something?

Hopefully when they come back later this year, it'll feature better cars....

I guess they will. They definitely have to test the 599 GTB, Porsche GT3 and Turbo and so on... Otherwise it would be a serious letdown from the worlds best car show.

Then it's just a comedy show about cars.
And they have to ditch the famous person laptime because that bores the pants of me they can better use the time to test cars i don't really car for some famous celeb to crash a shitbox car.
:D   :x

pagani just hit the nail on the head - TG has become more comedy then car journalism

Constructors are definitly not happy about this and will probably lend lis cars to them to teach them a lesson. Clearly the succes has gone to Jeremy's head, and now he's got to realize that he cannot do on tv what he wants.

Season finished already? Damn footbal. Well, at least the van thingie was really funny. And I don't belive that Hamster was really drifting the Noble, at least not that nice, long drifts. They take years of practice ...
Plus: I really hope that JC get even more outrageous. Obviousl he can do what he wants ... The show has good ratings and dont forget: BBC can buy a car if it is not provided as test car - which usually leads tio even more shame for the manufacturer ...

Hammond's attempt to drift the Super Carry was awesome!!!

Yeah, and the car slides really nice when it's lying on the side ...

*gives a little cheer for the Z06 staying above the Noble M15* :P

Not their best work (which seems to be the theme as of late really), but it was still enjoyable.

Hopefully we'll be in store for something special when the show returns in the fall.

Anyone watch the closing credits the trio is credited as:

Lee Clarkson
Wayne Hammond
Terry May

What's that referring too? Is is any way related to that teaser picture for Season 8 that had pictures of their faces covering some characters from an older TV show?

btw, kinda off-topic... i read this at the end of the Koenigsegg CCX review on the top gear website:

There's just one minor complication, and it's one that comes in the form of another über-powerful road car that, at the time of writing, still has to make its appearance on the Top Gear track. The 1,000bhp Bugatti Veyron.

"subtle" hint?

^ They also said that at the end of the CCX test in the show. They just don´t have Bugattis permission yet to drive it on the track. Hopefuly they´ll have it in the next series...
