Hope this isn't a repost guys, but anyway. The wheels make a load of a difference. Although since those are familiar wheels (I won't spoil it), im sure BMW is planning some even more beastly looking pieces of metal for us. If we're lucky maybe the color of the Z4 M Coupe Concept. :o

The CSL's wheels are gorgeous <3

Makes that car look a hell of a lot better.

Rather hoped they used other Rims then the CSL's ones. They were unique and gorgeous, now every M3 will just be fitted with them :?

Those wheels are stunning

I just hope the wheels will be at least as good as those ones. 8)

I'm already saving money for this beauty

Hate to say it but I'm with you on that. New BMW's just aren't my thing.

Agreed. The E46 M3 will be the best looking classical BMW.

But with all the tape and all, it is kinda of hard to tell. We will see in a few months.

E30 & E46 - gorgeous
E36 - meh
E92 - the car itself looks pretty bland, though I hope a happy surprise is lurking beneath that camo...

That cover on the hood? Im guessing vents, angled outards all the way up. most likely to disspate heat, or maybe just for asthetics. Bumber might have a diffuser of some sort too.

The cover on the hood yes, but there are other details covered up as well, such as the side skirts and the signature M quarter panel vents. There have also been different looking front bumpers in various photos. All of those things suggest that we have yet to really see any real impression of the final car. There are a lot of subtle details that can change a car's apperance significantly, so I'm not going to give up hope just yet haha.

That said, the standard E92 coupe doesn't impress me much, and certainly isn't as attractive in my eyes as the E46. This new M3 will need to look a decent bit different than the base for me to be struck by it.

True, nicer wheels can improve the looks of a car, but why biy an ugly car with nice wheels when you could buy a nice looking car with regular wheels...?
I wouldn't buy an ugly car with nice wheels over a nice car with regular wheels haha. At the moment, I'd take a standard E46 M3 over this E92 in a fucking heartbeat.

this car will be awesome once it's released - no doubt about it! :D

Exactly. :D

I understand your point of you but I think BMW noticed those wheels fitted very weel in the car and everybody loved them, so they used them. But I don't think they will use them in the E92 M3.

The final version of the M3 was called M3 CS ( Competition S ??? ) and the wheels had the same design as the CSL ones but weren't made in the same material, were heavier

^ you don't need superpowers - the E92 3-Series coupe has already been released... and the M3 won't be much different from that

Their opinions are based on the black M3 we see here. We still dont know the real deal and we also know bodykits can do wonders to cars. Bloody bashers.!.!

A lot of people are going to eat hats when the final product will be relesed. You will all be in shock how brutal the car is going to look. 8)
