Spy photographer Chris Doane snapped some clear photos of the forthcoming Mitsubishi Evo X. Based on the Mitsubishi Concept-X, the new Evo will have over 300 horsepower and debut as a 2008 model. Rumor has it the new model weighs significantly less than the existing Evo.

This is good news! look at the front grills, it seems the car will be similair in presence to the concept X shown a few years back.

It almost looks like an upcoming base model lancer with hood scoop and optional "sporty wheels". I really hope that camo is covering up its agressive look and I hope that wheel and tire combo doesnt make it to production.

One good thing, if it is lighter than the Evo IX MR or even RS and with 300+ (guessing round 320-330)....we gotta beast on our hands folks.

I hated the Concept X, and this looks to be following in that design... The front end looks like a Dodge...

This is probably the regular Lancer, doubt this is the EVO version.

concept x front was amazing. I honestly think that if they make the production model look like the concept x, Ill b trading in the G35 for the EVO X. I dont like 4 doors but there are exceptions in life! This one is the first nice EVO IMO. Cant wait to see it come out and race rally events. Most agressive and pretty car.
