I don't know about the rest of you Supra lovers but the AbFlug S9500 kit is one of the sexiest kits to be wrapped around a Supra.

I believe it's originally based on the TRD kit and them modified further by AbFlug to produce the sexy kit you see above.

Normally lambo doors on anything other than a lambo I would consider rice but they don't look too bad on that Supra IMHO.

does anybody considers this a rice car??? i don't but i wanna read some opinions..thanx

I have to agree altedza, I don't like the TRD hood either.

However, the interior is just fine by me, it's not meant to be a Lexus you know :) and it's already heavy enough as it is without excess bagage...

The only thing rice IMHO about this car is the Lambo doors which are NOT part of the original AbFlug S9500 kit! Colour wise, the yellow is quite nice too although I know a lot of people for some reason associate yellow with being rice. I'm sort of guessing those might be the major rice type issues associated with this car. Is that what you were refering to?

I like normal SUpras with only suspension, engine, exhaust and wheels modified.
In my opinion this car doesn't need exterion mods.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of kit on a Supra, especially something based on the TRD widebody. It is functional (wind tunnel tested for +300km/h) as well as good looking (phat).

Addmitedly, the above example is a little more over the top than some kits but it still has function as well as form IMHO.

I like rice cars and I like supras but I just dont get the door thing. It would be easier to get in and out of the car with the original doors. Even the Gallardo uses "normal doors" now.

Yes, fine doors. A japanese tuner called "Top Secret" made a wide body Supra with a 1000 bhp Skyline engine. It is impressive too.

if anyone saw the DVD high octane the first one, they used this car for a top speed test in it and that wasnt a skyline motor in it this time.had an MR2 turbo engine in it.

Sorry, but as much as I LOVE Supras I hate the squarness of the Top Secret kit. You can get the Supra as wide as the TopSecret Supra but with a much nicer looking kit.

From memory, and it's quite bad ;) , the Nissan engine in that TopSecret Supra is the one out of the Skyline (RB26DETT) AND there are Supras using 2JZGTE motors making 1000bhp so I'm not overly impressed with the use of the Skyline engine just for that purpose...

Widebody TRD Supra kit I think you're looking in the range of $10-$15K for a replica kit and install!

yeah the Top Secret car is using a 3SGTE engine, that is pushing over 700HP (toyota makes some of the best engines in the world) its stroked to 2.1 liters, and that car IS FOR SALE!!!!!!!!! www.suprastore.com has its info, its unreal
supras rock my word

SupraPolak

700HP, not bad for a 4 cylinder  I think I still prefer the 2JZGTE though

isnt that juns supra?

PaulGT2164
01-10-2004, 06:02 AM
no mhm3773, its Top Secrets supra, another tuning company similiar to Jun, just a lil less known. on another interesting note, the JGTC supras are now running either the 3SGTE (for better wieght distribution) or the tundra/lexus V8 ! the supra turned out to be a swap happy chassis after all :)

anyhows enought useless info...its 4am here

SupraPolak

Weight distribution is not the only reason for the engine swap, regs play a part in this too as is my understanding. The rules state that they can run whatever chasis they wan't but the engine has to be a current production job, hence the 3SGTE. That's my understanding anyway

yeah thats right, but they still make the 2JZ in various forms =) i would like to see what would happen if you took the tundra V8 and twin turboed it =) hehehe :D
