Lately I've been spending most of my time studying for my accounting course I'm taking this summer.

**Disclaimer/Warning**
If anyone in college is thinking about taking accounting courses, don't do it. If you take accounting and actually plan on getting a good grade, you will not have a life that entire semester, and the best part is that if you can't usually take just one accounting course, you usually have to take at least two, and thats means you're pretty much giving up an entire school year's worth of fun. Don't do it.

To summarize the above paragraph... Accounting=HELL

My friend did accounting back in Uni. He did alright, and still managed to party here and there.

Maybe he's an insane math genius.

I've been fencing a lot lately, trying to keep in shape. Waiting to hear back from an admissions officer at a Law School which I'm interested in attending, and I've been honing my cooking skills for my housemates and potential gf's. Fun times...but being unemployed means I'm doing it all on a shoestring...which isn't so fun.

Accounting is common sense dude. It's simple math, all you need to know are all of the bullshit terms and rules.

As for me, I ended my internship on the 30th of June. Since then I've been partying my ass off with friends I rarely get to see back at home. Sadly I have to go back to classes tomorrow (I already should of been back at school since july 4th)

BTW: Here's another reason why you shouldn't take an accounting course: it's boring. Trust me, I know, and that's why I'm looking for something else.

And then there's the girlfriend, who makes me feel guilty if I spend too much time on my pc. :?

jabba.. i'll take any of that 2nd hand "junk" you'll have there ;)

My vapochill might be for sale in the near future, but shipping would be a real bitch I suspect, besides unless you have hours and hours to perfect the condensation proofing it is really only good for benchmarking on a short term usage basis. Saying that, it is a hell of a lot of "fun" to tinker with and of course allows for extreme over clocking and that model as its 12 V is no more real noisier than air or even water cooling (with a noisy pump..LOL)

Erez
07-12-2006, 09:01 AM
hell yeah.. i wanted to order a 2gig mem kit.. shipping 8 usd, money transfer.. 25 usd.. so shipping a 15Kg package..   my guess would be 500 usd.. (checked some sites for a nzxt lexa.. came to about 400 usd shipping from the us.. 400 for a 200 case! ) i'll wait for all the heavy upgrading till im in canada.. and will be on the look out for a good cooling solution too, i really wanted to go phase cooling.. but your little "mishap" kinda worries me.. :? but i guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there.. (btw- i was thinking of water cooling with a cooled reservoir maybe..)

Jabba
07-12-2006, 09:10 AM
(btw- i was thinking of water cooling with a cooled reservoir maybe..)

It doesn't really work, and many have tried from putting their reservoir/fans into a mini fridge to putting their pc into an aquarium full of oil and trying to cool that. No real gains either from what I have seen except one hell of a mess !

Anything that is going to make make a huge difference in terms of cooling is going to be sub-zero temp and sub-zero temps need good insulation otherwise you will suffer from unwanted condensation in all the wrong places. The mounting kits are getting better all the time, so maybe when you are ready to try its something that wont be too much of a worry.

Erez
07-12-2006, 09:16 AM
yeah i sure hope it will be more "useable" by the time i'll be in the market for it..
till then.. i'm on air..

Jabba
07-12-2006, 09:19 AM
And to be honest those conroe processors are so powerful on air that there is no real need for advanced cooling, except for benchmarking and JW SPI competetions of course LOL.
