Mitsubishi Evo IX Twins Photoshoot!

The plan was to just do a photoshoot with one of these cars, but at the last minute I was able to organise another guy with an Evo IX.

At the time I didn't realise it was a pretty much identical car in every way, you can spot the differences for yourself. ;) So it changed my plans for the photoshoot a little but its strange to see cars so similar together so I was happy. :D

Positives: lovely looking car, very fast, the recaro seats.

Negatives: boring sound, crappy interior. :bah:

Love them in white though, especially with the darker BBS wheels! :drool:

The interior is pretty poor IMO, besides the Recaros which are very supportive and look the goods!

Are both cars supposed to be exactly alike or something b/c in the 5th pic one of them has the shark-fin protrusions on the back edge of the roof and the other one doesn't.

Nope, since mine is stock (engine wise) I can't keep up.....I'm doing something about it in the next few weeks though. ;)

yes, that is the only difference.

They even both have the same parking permit sticker on the windscreen!

Its still there, but definately less noticeable than in a WRX/STi.....different turbo setup.

Although all Evos after Evo6 have extremily(IMHO) boring designs, photoshoot came up pretty well, high quality stuff as always :) having 2 of them was great coincedence :P

Great idea for a photoshoot to use two almost identical cars. And you exploited that idea to perfection with pic 12. It almost looks like it was shot with a mirror :D
