The old one was crashed during the 2004 edition of the Gumball rally

Yeah I remember that, it flipped over didn't it?

Well good to see the new one back, will it be together with the Sierra Reyland Cosworth again? 8)

This version way better than old one in every way like engine aerodynamics chassis brakes etc.
The engine is good for almost 700 hp.
I believe the reyland sierra is back.
Engineering wise this car is overkill.

I think this car will run high 9 sec run/very 10 sec run on the dragstrip.
But this car is made for circuit driving/trackdays that's strong point of this car not made for a dragstrip.

Thats why they used to race the old Escort /\/\ in the rallysport, and still are. Because of rear wheel drive.

Ahhh, the person who painted that car is about to re-spray mine. There is also a sister car to that reyland, well, there will be. It is currently being painted  (edit: as per pagani's post)

Let me see if I can get some pics!

Sorry about the size:

Hahah, I wish.

That is THE Relyand Sierra; sister car to the Escort. The only link I have to the Reyland cars is the fact I am using the same person to paint may car wither BMW Le Mans Blue or Ferrari TDF Blue.

They can switc between rwd and awd drive the have os giken gearbox this one few gearboxes that can do it.
Rwd mode is show off or putting heat in the tires awd is trackrace and hard launching and all the other things.

Found some stuff on the net

Old (crashed) Reyland Cosworth:

Reyland Sierra Cosworth:

:!: And then this, this vid, just look how fast that thing is :!: :!:

And then to think that the new one is even faster

YOu know, as impressive as all that sounds, and as impressive as the video looks - wouldn't people be more surprised if a hugely modded, gutted interior, lightened, strengthed "race car" with plates did not go as quickly as that?

It's not exactly a comfortable daily driver anymore is it? :P ;)

pagani
07-03-2006, 06:51 AM
It's road legal trackcar not a daily driver.
:D :o

Then whats the big deal?

Those types of cars are a dime a dozen... ;)
