Hello ladies and gentlement, indepth time ;) sadly with this one I am starting a little series of "small" indepths as they were realized during short dealer testdrives, and the terrible lack of time and desire to drive the cars made it VEYR difficult to have a good amount of acceptable pics..
I had to use two cars to gather a scarce 18 pics and to be honest, nothing special.. maybe just a couple worth the effort :( but at least I have a proper review of both cars, to be posted in the JW reviews section ;)

Enjoy the 18 high-res pics by clicking one of the previews

Damn! So this was a dealer testdrive, what the hell did the salesman say when you stopped to take pics?! Did you tell him 'just for my records, I need some pics of the car' hahahahah. :P

Both those cars look stunning, even more so when you find out they aren't super expensive! I wish they had those over in America, I can't wait to read the review of them. :D Thanks for the high quality pics TT.

Loving the Brera. Think I would put fatter tyres on the back though and change the wheels. Otherwise stunning! :D

LOL, I was alone with the cars luckily :D with a dealer beside me I wouldn't dare :bah:

As always great pics TT :P
Im probably only one who is not amased by late Alfa's, interiors are kickass in any alfa but exterior is... different :( I hope it drives better than looks :) 8)

Thanx TT :P

What are the specs of both cars?? 3.2 V6 may be??

3.2 V6 the Brera, 2.4 JTDM the 159, reviews were posted already ;)

BTW, reliability apparently went up a notch with the new models

Very nice, the Brera is a sexy little car although I think it needs something brighter than this black! Top pics though. :D

How did you go about getting the drive? Just walk in and pretend you want to buy one? You do that hear and pretty much always you will get a salesman coming with you.

This was a "special" open doors day actually and you could test pretty much every car (well, not the really top models) in the BMW, Chrysler, Subaru, Jaguar, Land Rover, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Volvo, MG, Mini... range (big dealer)

Very good pics, thanks!
Well, both cars are very nice in terms of design, but even the Brera is sportier, i think the 159 is more beautiful and has a more complete look.

^^^^ my point was another one

I was so fucked up with my 147... that I need 20 more years at least to trust Alfa Romeo again

You don`t need another 20 years to trust it again

Things can change in the right direction faster than you think mate :P

And yes , the first car I`am gonna buy will be an ALFA , GT model to be precise the 3.2 litres :P

BTW, I am positively interested in maybe putting my hands on a 159 in the future.. still depends, I don't like to plan before I really hit the market.. but is so sexy...
And yet. I am sure the GTA version will be so damn cool that the 3.2 V6 won't be enough.. so who knows...

^^^^^ let`s hope the things will go better and we`ll have a V8 of 4.3 litres for the GTA, the engine derived from Maserati, with 440 hp & 505 Nm

Basicaly a Ferrari heart powering an ALFA, how cool can it be ? :P

That's a very good result for a quick photoshoot! The Brera pics on the little hill are great!

btw, what did you think about the diesel engine? I've driven it in the Brera, and besides the engine note which was pretty nice for a diesel, it didn't impress me much. I was expecting more punch, and I also found it pretty dead below 2000 rpm.

Holy crap! I wish a dealer close to me would do that shit sometime. If I got a test-drive by myself, I don't think I'd be able to stop and take any pics tho, I'd be waaay too busy driving.
