Interesting to see Moscow on the top of the list..
I also thought I heard Boston was more expensive than NYC.. I always thought that didn't make sense.

Someone said Moscow is not the most expensive.
But Im sure what they take into account is average wage of the city resident.
If you account for the fact that the average wage in Moscow is prolly around 250$ then it sure as hell is the most if not the most expensive city to live in.

Well NYC is still more expensive than Boston but Boston is VERY expensive. My tiny 1 bedroom apartment was $1,550 a month. But that was on the first block of Marlborough Street, one the nicest blocks in all of Boston...
Ted Kennedy and the chairman of Fidelity Investments live on this same block. Well not that Ted was hardly ever there... I saw him 2 or 3 times in the 3 years I lived there. Always with secret service men with him.

Oh no, of course not and that did not include utilities either. It was a VERY nice place but really small, I mean SMALL! But I did have working fireplace.
Here is a pic -

If you see the ugly white couch, that was against the back wall. This room was more than twice as big as the bedroom which was just large enough to fit a queen size bed and nothing more. And the kitchen had about as much room as the electronics area. With a small normal full bath. Very nice but very small and expensive.
It was cool because this building was built in 1866! So a lot of history in the whole area. Cool to think that someone was sitting in front of that fireplace back in 1867!

Wow, I am surprised that NYC didn't make the top 10. Very interesting indeed. And I didn't know London was so expensive.

And I didn't know London was so expensive.
Neither did a 'cisco-based friend 'till she came to visit when I was there.
"$2 for a tiny 120ml bottle of water?!"
