What's up with the 80-120 KPH for the Vette and Gallardo? The Turbo and the F430 eats them up for dinner. :?:

Oschersleben is quite fast IIRC:

Simple really.. the Z06 has a very long 6th gear for fuel economy when cruising long distances. This way do younot only not have to pay gas guzzler tax, but you can get about 27mpg on long trips which makes the car very usable as a long distance tourer making fewer gas stops.

Only an idiot would bother with a 80kmh to 120kmh in 6th gear.

An absolute idiot.

Little details liek this show that the clowns who do test these cars (and that goes for all the cars) really have lost touch with the reality of how and where you use them.

In order to establish a "best 80-120 time" why would you not simply use the best gear suitable for getting the "best 80-120 time"?? Who in their right mind will sit in top gear and try to pass a lorry on the motorway??? No matter what car you are in, you will down shift to an appropriate gear and dispatch of the pasing manouvre in the best time possible.

According to Porsche themselves, the 997TT automatic is quicker than the manual... dunno know how much, but it can't be that much can it?

Still take that Turbo over all them cars...
