Bus drivers angry at Jeremy Clarkson

In a recent Sun article, he said any bus driver who fails to give cars the right of way is an "inconsiderate jumped-up little Hitler bastard" who should be "shot in the middle of his face." Public transportation official Graham Stevenson said he's not impressed by Clarkson's comments. "Bus drivers have a sense of humour, but these comments are … deeply offensive," he said. "Many of our members and their families have taken offence. Clarkson should apologize, but he should do more, in our view, he should spend a week as a bus driver." Stevenson promised to organize a job swap if Clarkson is prepared to try driving a bus.


I would love to see him drive a bus as a feature of a TG episode.

I think Clarkson went abit overboard. If he had to bash, he should bash @ those truck driver first. In Toronto, those 18-wheelers keep hogging fast lanes... :fist:

:lol: Those comments seem right inline with everything else "offensive" he's ever said. He says that people need to be shot or maimed quite often on Top Gear or his columns, so that's not really out of the ordinary for him. The Hitler thing is a bit odd in this context, but it's not something I'd get all upset about.

I agree with you guys, that would kick ass to see Jeremy driving a bus route :lol:

The specifics of being shot in 'the middle of the face', and the Hitler comment, were both a bit over the line and could have easily offended a lot of people. I personally don't really find it offensive because I know JC is an ass anyways haha, but yea, they have more than enough reason to be offended.

As with others, I would love to see him take on this job swap, and turn it into a feature on Top Gear if it was good enough (which I bet it would be).
