BMW Z8, from 170 to 200 km/h ...in one second???

There must be something wrong with the speedometer of the Z8 because that acceleration is not normal:

I've heard the Z8 is faster than people think but not that fast :)

I don't know what exactly was it, but I don't think it was a speedo error. Maybe some kind of a gap where the wheel were in the air.....aa I don't know :>

Well, its a two seater roadster (sure its not the lightest but still).. with a torque monster v8 with 400hp..

But the car only has that acceleration from 170 to 200, before and after that the acceleration is much more linear and slow....

Haven't seen the video, but thats only an 18mph gain in speed.. 1 sec does not sound impossible.

it'll be just a fault with the electronic (?) speedo imo - the cars accelerating constantly throughout the vid...

video is also bit crappy, maybe it jumps a second at this monent.
normal Z8 can go 0 - 180 km/h in 13,4 ant 0 - 200 16,8 so I think it's not logical but maybe 170 - 200 in 3 seconds maybe :?
