rare Jag XJ Concept Eight, new XK, DB2+DB4, 612Sc, 3200GT

Back from my holiday, I did a quick tour to the local AM dealer (Jaguar and RangeRover in the same dealership) to see my :love: AMV8Vantage again :wink:


In the Jaguar section, there was this Jaguar XJ Concept Eight
1 of 30 built only, so its a rare sight :D , but IMO the car's ugly :bah:

according to the display, it has a 4.2l engine with 400hp.

I like it!, kind of a AM copy for sure, but not bad

the Aston Martin part of the dealership was SOLD OUT!!
They don't have a single car (except two testcars in the cellar) anymore :lol: .
So they placed these two oldies in the showroom, A DB2 and a DB4

Thanks for the pics! I love the Concept Eight. There is another one in the Jag dealer in Crissier and the dealer told me just 5 or so were meant for the Swiss market but it was basically impossible to sell them. No idea how many are actually on the road.. too bad because it's just gorgeous, In Crissier they have it with the suspension at the lowest position and it's so long, so wide and so low! :love:

But even if I can't really remember, it was launched too close to the new XJ and probably the average customer prefers the new model rather than a limited series of the old one :bah:

The XJ concept is nothing special, the engine is the same, just some exterior addons :o

The Jaguar XJ Concept Eight looks nice with those wheels but it has a lot of ugly details :roll:

Gorgeous pics. I love the XK concept eight. But I like the DB5 and DB2 even better. I only once saw a DB2 'in public'. It was being serviced afew years ago at the local dealership. But I can still remember it clearly. Too bad I didn't had a camera with me in those days.

Normally I don't like Jags cars, but I find very badass the Jaguar XJ Concept Eight in all black and I like it a lot. But it's not my first choice in that car range, I still prefer the Audi S8 V10 or the W12. :D
