$750k? To me, the F50 is the poor relation to the F40. Sure, it may be faster, but the F40 destroys it when it comes to passion and history.

Says who? I certainly don't think so, and neither do most car enthusiasts. It's not that much faster than an F50 in a straightline, nor on a racetrack, and it certainly doesn't have the timeless beauty that the F40 does. Each to their opinion though.

im with you on this, F50 over an F40 any time. So many have fallen into the whole myth that the F40 is this, and that, and is the greatest ever. But many that do drive it are disapointed, as good as is, it just cant liive up to standards that high.
The F50 may not be beuatiful, but its menacing, sounds better then the F40 ever could, is a ferrari V12 rather then a twin turbo that stretches back to the 288 gto, handles like a ferrari should and is much less common then an F40. I was estatic when i saw that EVO write up a year or two back proclaiming the F50 as the best ferrari hyper car ever.

I don't buy into the myth of any car, and I certainly don't think that the F40 is God's gift to motoring. However, as a Hypercar, I think that it's better in every way than the F50. It isn't about the performance, or the numbers, but the passion, and the F40, for me, is a more passionate car, and concept, than the F50, which just leaves me cold.
