Uhh, close call thamar, you're on lucky guy!
My brother got caught the other day doing an average 130kph, topped 150kph, on a 110kph and got fined 120 euros for that... Luckily the cop had his numbers all wrong and he managed to keep his license.
I'm still on a two year "trial" so I can't do anything wrong, or else the take my license away and you're forced to do it all over again.
Still, I've got a pretty heavy right foot which worries me alot... :?

wow glad to hear the verbal part, man you'd be in real trouble if you had the ticket. I was once let off REAL esasy too.
I was doing 90mph on a 40 cuz the road was so empty that it asked for it. I was driving my friend's M3 and he had no registration OR proof of ensurance. Well, I think the comp landed from the air because honest to god, radar did not sound and I didnt see anything. Unless police cars are now equipped with camouflage, I dont know where he came from. He pulled me over and well, asked for licensce registrationa nd proof of insurance... I had 1/3rd lol. Told him I was gonna call my friend (who was in puerto rico) to ask for where the other papers were, though I knew he didnt have any as he told me not to speed due to that fact. Well when I called him to tell him, cop came over and I hanged up (thought I hanged up but pressed wrong button). Cop gave me six verbal warnings lol, speeding lane changing improper start, no insurace etc... all was heard by my friend, he was a little upset, but I was happy I wasnt tickeged for it.
Cop told me, "if I were to ticket you, you'd be paying over 700$ and frankly, I just dont want to do all the paperwork for all your violations."
LOL, I guess the morale of the story is, if you are speeding do as many other illegal stuff as possible so that officer gets lazy of doing paperwork.

Some cops probably like the paperwork. I sometimes find myself doing 60km/h in a 40 or 50 zone, mainly earlier in the day, when no-one is around. Some roads just ask for it, especially when you're in a hurry.

You lucky sod tharmar
I had a similar incident back in march, lucky for me the copper let me off with only a producer (which in UK is where you have to take proof of insurance and liscence to police station). But I think I need to get to know someone in the police force too because I doubt all coppers are as sound as the one who court me.

Just get to know lawyers. They actually do have the authority to give you tickets.

You go to court over speeding tickets?

Wow...you are lucky
It seems everytime I get pulled over I get a ticket no matter what...then again cops in NY are just A-holes.
And Demon, dude you should be in jail right now. Maybe if I grew massive boobies I wouldnt get into these predicaments, but my back would sure end up hurting
Moral of the stories: Grow boobies, do as many illegal activities as possible, have an immediate family member as a cop.
That surely covers everything doesnt it?

lol, where was it ? (i'm fron belgium too)
shouldn't there be atleast 2 cops who saw you speeding , in order to give you a ticket? :?
I always thought 1 cop couldn't accuse you ? :s
greetz
nice story
and
lucky you :)

In the UK, i'm allowed a maximum of 5 points in my first two years, otherwise i'm siqualified and have to take the test again.
And considering it's usually 3 points per speeding offence, if i get one, i can't afford to get another as that would give me six points
Oh well - at least i know where most of the cameras in my area are located
