It's actually an oil painting.


I thought that it was pretty darned good, although, as has been said, a little too shiny.

It's a great painting but some details other than the shine gives it away like the tail light.

At first glance I though it was a model...

Actually where you can really see it isn't "real" it's the ground or background, but pretty damn good, at least in picture :)

Very impresive painting.

Where the tires touch the floor is one of the minor details that gave it away.

But the quality is amazing, and the reflections on the car came out almost too perfect.


Do you know the artist of this work TeflonTron :?:

Yeah, painting was my first impression, but it would have thought it real if I just glanced at it. It's incredibly realistic.

sort of looks like it has one tail light on the right... impressive painting though

I noticed that too. The left lights look flatter than the one on the right as well. Plus, it's supposed to have a prancing horse in the middle and I don't recall ever seeing the exhaust tips in black.

Apart from the tail light and the badge, I'm nitpicking though. It looks very realistic!

I just thought that was a really cool pic, although when I went to show the pic to someone else I saw the "painting" in the url hahah...wow, a really amazing work! I'd like to see some of the other paintings this guy has made. 8)

The third tail-light, the red turn signal on the back of the car infront of the vents, and if you look at the front, you can see the black lip on the bottom of the nose. I believe those are only on US versions.
