You're not allowed to 'J-walk' as they call it, in America so maybe it was that, when he saw the police who slowed down he knew he was caught.

Only US could have a law that prevents you from crossing the road! ;)

As has been pointed out before - first a society needs to have a basic respect for civilized law and order before you can hope to apply civilized law and order

Then again, maybe more backwards 3rd world countries should be like Singapore

The import, manufacture and sale of chewing gum has been banned in Singapore since 1992, and the penalty for smuggling gum into the country is a year in jail, and a 10,000 Singapore dollar- ($5,500-) fine.

They may end up cleaner, and more law abiding.

What's so funny about this? The guy probably ran because he was carry drugs or something and didn't want to get busted.

I cant belive you are discussing if he ran because of J walking, my first tought was he was on the run from the cops for some reason and when he saw them he ran like the bitch he probably are....the cops was maybe looking for him and that was why the camera zoomed in to him...

I never thought of that, or noticed that the camera zoomed in :)

who cares why he was running as there is no point to the vid, its not funny, no one gets hurt, no good cars in action, no animals attacking humans and NO NAKED CHICKS!! that being said this vid is dumb, worthless and pointless!!

haha ..... you deffinetly need to go saee my pics :P

Jaywalking is actually encouraged in some cities, like Canberra, where pedestrian pathways actually seem to go through busy roads.

They sure want to decrease population then.
