Okay,

I was bored today, so I thought of opening this topic:
If you owned a car, what and how would you mod it ? the car you select must be 'normal' from a Toyota Celica to a Nissan Skyline GTR.

My List:
1. Honda Integra Type R DC2 '98

- HKS Hi-Power Cat-Back Exhaust
- DC-Sports 4-1 Stainless Steel / Brushed Finish Header
- Comptech Hi Flow Catalytic Converter
- AEM Polished Cold Air Intake
- Greddy Pro Iridium Spark Plugs ; Type ISO ; Heat Range: 10
- Nology Red Colored Spark Plug Wires
- Mugen Hi-Pressure Radiator Cap
- Mugen Aluminium Oil Cap
- 215/40/ZR17 Pirelli P Zero Rosso Tyres
- 17" x 8" BBS RX Silver Rims

~ This is all I would do, increase the straight line performance since the steering / handling already is factory-tuned for this vehicle, only wider tyres for just a bit more grip...

2.Honda Prelude 2.2i VTEC '93 (4th Generation)

- GP-Sports Spec-Ti Full Titanium Cat-Back Exhaust
- DC-Sports 4-1 Stainless Steel / Brushed Finish Header
- Comptech Hi Flow Catalytic Converter
- Injen Black Cold Air Intake
- JUN Racing Technology Ecu
- JUN Racing Technology Intake Manifold
- JUN Racing Technology Cam Gears
- JUN Racing Technology Lemon Yellow 'DOHC VTEC' Valve Cover
- TODA 4A-G 4 Throttle Body
- Greddy Pro Iridium Spark Plugs; Type ISO; Heat Range: 10
- Nology Red Colored Spark Plug Wires
- HKS Hipermax RS Coilover
- 215/40/ZR17 Pirelli P Zero Rosso Tyres
- 17" x 8" JIL ICE Racing Rims
- Brembo Gran Turismo Series Drilled w/ 4-Piston Red Calipers
- Black Recaro SRD Sport Seats
- Black / Red Recaro Shoulder Pads
- Sparco Reflex Drilled Sport Pedals
- Mugen Floormats
- DC2R Titanium Shift Knob
- JDM-Spec '96 Integra Type R Steering Wheel (Non-Airbag)

Now lets see your list(s) :P

Hmmmm. Usually, I wouldn't dream of doing anything with a "normal" car because I fail to see the point of it, but...the R34 does cost around, like $90000, so...that does widen the range a lot.

I'd like an Audi RS4 Avant (B7)

-MTM's re-mapped speed limiter. Certainly good for 175mph.

Or an S6 Avant (C6) with the speed limit removed.
Or an RS6 Avant Plus with the speed limit removed.

That's probably as far as I'll go in modifying.

after thinking 'slightly' more, there is one thing i loath more then the Koenig TR....

first, i'll buy something along the lines of this:

http://962.com/registry/956_962/962-162/Daytona%202004-07a_resize.jpg
since it has little race heritage..
then De-tune it :P at Jochen Dauer's place, and turn it into the real king of all supercars, and original 250+ mph road car that happens to out handle pretty much everything ;)

2004 Subaru WRX (red)

- 3" TBE exhaust
- bigger turbo and front mount intercooler
- CAI
- Ecutek ECU
- 22mm rear swaybar and ALK
- slotted rotors and Ferodo DS2500 pads
- 18" black wheels
- CF bonnet and other panels
- redone interior

That would be enough to last me for while, and its actually a realistic goal for the next 1-2yrs (unlike a Hamann 911 or something). :D
