^^Yellow Jacket, I think
It's some kind of wasp. Yellow jackets, at least in the Northern part of the US, are slightly larger than a honey bee.
We've got Red and Yellow ones like the one you've got pictured down here in La, and i've seen them in Az as well. They're about 2 inches long. and have a fat stinger.
Do we have any entamologists here?

They might be rare in Michigan, but they are definetly not rare in the CCS apartments :)

Well this is spammers corner as Ronin said!!!
Saadie, i see you have a mosquito net, and supossing that is a standar mosquito net, its 1mmx1mm, so that bug its around 14 mm, that are 1.4 cms, around my thumb finger, so its preety little, then iti think its a larvae, in fact i think its a Golden Paper Wasp. Then i would try to recognice it, there are some kinid of wasps without sting, these kind have the eyes bluish or greenish.
As i cannot see the eyes from a good position y would decide it has sting.
Option 1: try to liberate. DEATH OR ALIVE !!!
Option 2:

Option 3:Use my 600 pages book of thermodynamic.
Option 4: piss and shout, but this isnt my style!!!!
Option 5: call my grandpa to washington and tell him to buy me this:

fuxing weather right now is prone to insects. I see them everywhere. Worst thing is when they go in your car. I never put down the windows, but as soon as I opened the door, fuxing insect went in!!
