 Sad sad news, but film is destined to become totally obsolete. Soon enough, medium and large format DSLR's will become readily available, and then film will be totally gone. This is especially sad to me because I shoot with a Canon SLR even though I have a 20D. There goes my plan to purchase an Elan 7N...

Well. I do miss doing all the photo developing process myself. It takes talent and hardwork, and the processing is an art in itself. I'm sad. But I don't own a photolab, so I'll be glad once DSLRs become more affordable.
