Small get together on Crissy Field w/ the local BMWCCA chapter. Great people and all. Had lots of fun just meeting the people. Very nice mixture of cars instead of all one generation (a la E36 :) ). And for once it wasn't a rice fest like other BMW meets I've been there. The only Carbon Fiber trim was on the E60 M5 mirrors ;) .

Anyways, took a few shots here and there. Seriously though I am not that happy w/ the results. Felt like I should've done a lot better. Didn't really think about the composition of shots before snapping :( .

Also some pics I screwed up on by not aligning the lens hood correctly. Didn't snap it in, just picked it up and using it for the first time. Anyways, no excuses. Also screwed up some more by having the flash on in some pictures :!: Hope you guys enjoy the pictures. Will try to do better next time.

- Cleanest car there by far was the 3.0CSi. They guy just had the entire interior redone. Excellent job!

- The Z4 M Roadster showed up too. I think overall the Z4 has the best implementation of the Flaming Surface Theme. That car was only 3 days old (new). Funny thing was that there was rat poop all over inside the engine bay. Apparently rats been living there at the dealership or something.

- The "Speed Limit" sticker was there to remind the owner about speed. He said he gets WAAAAAY too many speeding tickets :D.

Thanks again for looking! Of course any criticism is welcome, I know I did pretty bad. (Yes the white 4 door is mine ;).)

one of the really smart things bmw did: Using a wire insulation that has no appeal to rodents.

We see rodent prints under hoods all the time, and only once have i seen a harness get munched on by a squirrel. For the most part they just steal the hood insulation for nesting material and sleep in the airbox :?

the 3.0CSi looks amazing

Very nice meeting and pictures :!: my fav, even if it doesn't come from the meeting is the Quattroporte Sport GT's one. You could have cropped a bit to remove the mom and daughter from the frame and turn the frame itself a bit to it will be straight and not slightly tilted and it would have been perfect!

Overall your pics look over exposed (too white) darken them up a bit by lowering the brightness and boosting the contrast in photoshop..

Sure the pics didn't come out as you liked, But you can tell you were giving some thought in some pics... Keep taking pictures! As long as you keep taking pictures, you're bound to find some good ones..

I agree with TT, the Maserati pic looks real classy.. rotate it a bit, crop, sharpen and make it Black and White with high contrast and it will look beautiful

Great pics ...

I particularly like the Z4 frontal shot with only one headlight showing. Also like the white M Coupe with the BMW Motorsports stickers.
